Serology and Diagnostics
High Throughput Facility
University of Ottawa
About Us
Situated in a secure restricted-access biocontainment level 2+ (CL2+) laboratory at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine, our highly-skilled team takes tremendous pride in developing high throughput serological and molecular diagnostic (PCR) assays and workflows. Our automated serological platform is capable of conducting 15,000 ELISA assays per week for the detection of virus-reactive serum antibodies. Our standard operating procedures and training programs employ principles of GLP, GCP and GDP to foster a culture of excellence and consistency in our work.
